1989 Porsche 930 Twin Turbo Stage 4
This Porsche started life out as 930 Turbo. It was then sent to world renowned Porsche tuner Prototech for its stage 4 transformation it was fitted with Prototech's Stage 4 body that is lightweight and wider than the normal 930, and upgraded to the 993 body style. The interior had Recaro premium leather seats, Prototech alloy gauges, boost control module installed. A very professionally installed stereo system was then installed wtih twin sub's in a custom leather covered box in the rear seat compartment, and a amazing amplifier that is custom installed to look like the factory under the hood that is also leather lined.
Prototech did the Stage 4 engine upgrades that include twin turbos putting out around 700hp. The current owner after taking delivery took the car to the West Coast premier porsche tuner Rothsport to even have the car built to the highest level of performance and reliability and durability. As well with engine upgrade Rothsport also upgraded all of the suspension and braking system. The engine upgrades placed stronger piston in 3.4 liter turbo heart and upgraded and flowed the Porsche heads. Every part of the internals of the engine was inspected and upgraded as nessasary to have the best performance and durability. The owner wanted a car that could be daily driven or taken to the track and have the Baddest Porsche on track.
Rothsport completely redid the ignition system to optimize the twin spark set up with dual MSD system, and a XFI ECU. All the hoses were upgraded to silicone. The boost control is done through custom wastegate and 50mm blow off valves. Upon finishing the Transmission to Engine rebuild Rothsport Dynotuned the engine for the optimum performance numbers. While at Rothsport they also know the customer wanted to drive this car fast on the road and at the track, so the completely set up the chassis of this Porsche, including the braking system for the best bite on the road surface.
With the nearly $50k spent at Rothsport and the Prototech engine and body upgrades, and then the interior and stereo system build this car has had nearly $200k invested in best 1989 Porsche ever.
